This is really annoying as I already had to send my E560 in after I had regular power off problems without reason from games which started to become more frequent after in the beginning simple errors which stated: graphics driver stopped responding and has recovered. Specifically when playing games (star wars battlefront 2, tropico 3) the game crashes after one minute or so in the game. Seems stick 1 errors across multiple slots, even on slots stick 2 tests just fine, which looks like a faulty RAM stick.Įdited by bcordone, 06 January 2019 - 03:54 PM.So as the title says I am getting regularly bluescreens with the memory management error when playing games, so when using the graphics chip AMD R7 M370. I guess I should begin the RMA process for the RAM unless there is anything else you need tested. I'm thinking stick 1 is completely FUBAR but I'm going to run 8 passes with stick 2 in slot 2 to make sure.ġ5468077865131186323707.jpg 126.17KB 0 downloads Both tests one and three involved stick 1 (in slot 2 with stick 2 in slot 4 and by itself in slot 4 respectively) threw up errors within 30 seconds. I know this is early but I'm halfway into pass 1 with no errors so far. TEST 4: Stick 2 (confirmed "good" stick) in slot 2. Once again I am aborting and moving on to the final test. Update: Stick 1 threw up errors in slot 4. It appears stick 2 and slot 4 seem fine, so hopefully this will be the one that will show if that particular ram stick is faulty so I can begin the RMA process. TEST 3: I will do this later but I plan to test stick 1 in slot 4. Update: Made it to pass 10 with no errors.
A quick glance before going up shows I am now at pass 3 and still no errors.

I'm going to bed and will update more tomorrow. Still in progress but I am halfway through pass 2 of 8 and no errors so far. Current setup is stick 2 in slot 4 with slots 1 through 3 unoccupied. (even 1 error = fail and I had 571 before even the first pass was finished.) I aborted the test after taking the screenshot. Slots 2 and 4 are occupied by ram sticks (stick 1 in slot 2, stick 2 in slot 4) with slots 1 and 3 empty. TEST 1: Both sticks in their current position when I got the computer. This post will be updated via edits as I post results. I tried a different USB and was able to boot. I have a few other USB's I might try this with.Įdited by bcordone, 05 January 2019 - 04:01 PM. It just won't let me boot into it for whatever reason. I checked the USB and the files are on there. Is there any way I can get PTE info for you? I will commence MEMTEST86+ shortly and report back with the results, testing both sticks and slots.ĮDIT: I've put MEMTEST86+ on the USB, but when I try to boot from it, it gives me a "Missing Operating System" error. Driver corruption is a possibility as well, but I'd start with RAM first. You can start with Memtest86+ given these started happening randomly + one_bit. Won't be able to delve into the pte itself as the dump is merely a small dump and doesn't contain the pte info.
